    Total heterotrophic bacteria and fungi and the phosphatase producing bacteria and fungi in the gill, guts and muscle of fish (£troplus spp., Gem~s sp. and Glossogobius sp.) and viscera and man.tle of shellfish (Vellorita sp. and Perna sp.) were studied.
