Abstract
The present study concludes that,
raafres AQ at 5% in C. mrigala and 7.5% in
L. rohita elicited better performance in feed
intake, growth, FCR, PER, tissue indices and
leucocyte counts than other treatments.
Hence, 5 and 7.5% raafres AQ are considered
as the optimum dose for C. mrigala and Lrohita respectively. Comparatively, the optimum
dose of raafres AQ in L. rohita
influenced percentage of weight gain, conversion
efficiency and PER with less feed
intake, feeding rate and FCR than the
optimum dose of raafres AQ in C. mrigala.
Besides, 5% raafres AQ incorporated diet
resulted in similar impact on percentage of
weight gain, conversion efficiency, FCR and
PER in both carps and hence, the requirement
of high dose in L. rohita might be
nullified. Hence it is recommended to utilize
raafres AQ in feed for better aquaculture
production
