A successful protective system for the ship-bottom is an important pre-requisite for the efficient management of the fishing fleet. Fishing fleet management calls for a well-planned and rigid maintenance schedule. Periodical coating of the ship-bottom surfaces with selective paints needs expert attention. This paper involves the various ship-bottom protective coating systems.
