Deck equipments for handling of fishing gears onboard fishing vessels vary in sophistication depending on the size of the vessel and the type of fishing. It comprises gear handling equipment, such as winch and drums which are used to pay out and haul the fishing gear. Details of these equipments are communicated in this paper.
