dc.description.abstractMarine aqua species and their processed products are known to be part of Indian exports. In this context, there is a measure of baffling among industrial circles as to why there is no significant initiative at exporting freshwaters fishes and their products. Small quantities of freshwater species are exported based on special requests received but not in a general way. In this background, the authors explain the reasons for this special situations.en_US
