Abstract
Munambam is an important fish landing centre in Kerala for mechanised fishing boats. The fishermen of this area are adept at the adoption of innovative technologies. So much so, the local fishermen's association has played a leading role in equipping small scale fishermen in the mechanised sector for deep sea fishing.
