dc.description.abstractFish feed and feed materials such as rice bran, groundnut and cotton seed cakes used commercially in the fishponds of Kolleru lake area were collected periodically and analyzed for the presence of aflatoxin following micro column detection method . Livers of some fresh water fish that were supposed to he affected with aflatoxicosis were also tested for the presence of aflatoxin . It was observed that no aflatoxin was found either in fish samples/materials analyzed or in the liver tissues of fishes.en_US
