dc.description.abstractDiscriminant analysis takes into consideration the natural correlation existing between different characteristics of fish when studying mesh selectivity. Some specimen data are presented for 2 different sets of fish and it is shown that the discriminant analysis shows a significant difference between the 2 sets where the F test failed.en_US
